Dragon Dancer x Tigerific

We are delighted to have purchased an un-named 4-year-old filly by Dragon Dancer out of Tigerific, who is 100% GBB qualified. She will go into training with dual Gr.1-winning trainer Olly Murphy at his Warren Chase Stables in Wilmcote, near Stratford Upon Avon.

 As a British-bred, she qualifies for the lucrative Great British Bonus Scheme, meaning she can earn up to £30,000 on top of her allocated prizemoney, each time she wins an eligible race. 

We’ve had great success with other GBB fillies such as Eavesdropping who won £45,000 in bonuses, Space Voyage who won £75,000 in bonuses and That’ll Do Moss who won £30,000 in bonuses. 

Dragon Dancer, a bay stallion born in 2003, is a son of the legendary Sadler’s Wells and out of Alakananda, a daughter of Hernando. He had a notable racing career, finishing a close second in the 2006 Epsom Derby, narrowly beaten by Sir Percy. He also secured a win in the Listed August Stakes at Windsor and achieved placings in other significant races, including the Prix Eugene Adam and the Chester Vase. After retiring from racing, Dragon Dancer stood at stud in France before moving to Nunstainton Stud in County Durham in 2018. As a sire, he has produced winners in both flat racing and over jumps, with progeny earnings exceeding £1,000,000.
