Two Runners With Good Chances
by Ryan Tongue
8th October 2020

The busy times keep rolling and we have two runners on Thursday. Goldencard kicks the day off in the 12:45 at FfosLas, before we move on to Chelmsford where Vexed looks to get his career back on track in the 7:30.

Goldencard had good form last season for Keith Dalgleish and it would be fair to say that he has been disappointing since he was purchased by Deva Racing. Nevertheless, the noises coming out of the Christian Williams camp are positive and we are hoping that Christian will be proven right.

Vexed is our second runner of the day and he is another that has been a little disappointing over the last few months. As with Goldencard, all is not lost though. It is very likely that Vexed, like many horses before him just has not taken to hurdles and this is Vexed first run back on the flat since being beaten under half a length over course and distance in March. Tom Marquand is a very positive jockey booking and the application of blinkers are also a positive.

Hopefully these two talented horses can get show the ability that we all know they have.
