Ripper Roo bids to get his elusive first win under rules when running in a competitive Maiden Hurdle at Hereford on Sunday.
The meeting must be in doubt with sub zero temperatures due all night and snow falling for the majority of the morning however, a precautionary inspection has been called for 8.30am.
After filling the runner up spot in his only two starts to date under rules, Olly Murphy is confident that Ripper Roo can get the win his performances so far have deserved. Hereford is sure to suit him more than the unique demands of Fakenham last time out and by winning his only point to point on heavy ground, the testing conditions should hold no worries.
Both Kim Bailey and Seamus Mullins run well above average recruits that will be hard to beat, but with the excellent Aiden Coleman back on board, we are hopeful that Ripper Roo has the attributes to finish with his head in front.
