New recruit Flames Of Passion in training with Jonjo O’Neill

Deva Racing offer shares in the highly promising Jonjo O’Neill-trained Flames of Passion.

A four-year-old daughter of Flemensfirth, she was runner-up on her only start in an Irish point-to-point at Ballyarthur in March. She approached the final fence with every chance of success, only for a slight mistake to halt her progress. Despite that, there was no hiding her abundant promise.

Flames of Passion is out of the well-related Winged Lovemare Night of Passion, who won two staying handicap hurdles during the 2013/14 season when in training with Jeremy Scott. The mare has yet to be represented by a runner on the track but has plenty of promising young stock on the ground.

Night of Passion is in turn out of the stakes-winning jumper Miss Dundee and is therefore a sibling of the Grade-2 placed Armaguedon and the Listed-winning hurdler Aubane. The last-named went on to a highly successful breeding career, producing the four-time Graded-winning and Grade-1 placed chaser Perfect Impulse and two more black-type earning jumpers.

The story does not end there, however, as further descendants of Aubane include the exceptional On The Go, a dual Grade-1 winning chaser in France (including the Grand Steeple-Chase de Paris) and the Listed-winning hurdlers Spirit Sunand Listenmania.

Flames of Passion is by the great Flemensfirth, sire of superstar chasers such as Imperial CommanderLostintranslationTopofthegame and Tidal Bay. In addition, Winged Love has recently upped his profile in the broodmare sire division thanks to the exploits of dual Grade-1 winning novice chaser Notebook.

A share in Flames of Passion will allow members to visit the exquisite Jackdaws Castle in Gloucestershire, base of JonjoO’Neill. A former Champion Jockey and more recently a Gold Cup and Grand National-winning trainer, Jonjo continues to operate at the highest level and has sent out over 50 winners in each of the last 20 seasons, including nine centuries.

Don’t miss out on this chance to join a winning team!
