The owners in the Deva Racing Bollin Eric Partnership had a great day at Bangor watching their horse (Orlittlebylittle) complete his second victory. With plenty more to come the future looks promising.

Our Best Week Ever!

We have had a brilliant 12 months and last month we had our first double but this week tops the lot.

Firstly Boruler produced a thrilling performance at Perthin unsuitable ground. Donald took the opportunity toput him up in class and the horse did not disappoint. Under a brilliant front running ride from Jason Maguire, Bo produced his best performance and he did it the the hard way. He stayed on strongly in a performance full of promise. Boruler will go chasing next year and is a real prospect.

Orlittlebylittle had a year off in 20111 and has been playing catch up but recently he has been flying. A win at Market Rasen in April was followed by a brilliant weight carrying performance at Uttoxter last Sunday. Saturday 19th May saw him raise his game again and once again it was an enterprising ride from Jason Maguire. Leading from pillar to post Orlittle gave his all in a fantastic performance to win at Bangor.

Mike Foster said “I was delighted by the performance of Boruler at Perth, he is a big horse and will make up into a decent chaser. He has run seven times and has won twice and been runner up twice, in fact he has never finished out of the frame. Orlittlebylittle is an impressive looking horse and Donald and his team deserve a lot of credit in producing improvement in this horse. He had a few problems last year but Donald and his team have been brilliant and the results are now coming. I must mention his owners who have been really loyal and deserve all the success they are experiencing. I think some of them are getting the taste for Champagne!”

The final share in our 2-y-o Avonbridge filly is now on sale and we are holding a final viewing day this Saturday at Tom Dascombe’s Manor House Stables. Orlittlebylittle- Uttoxeter

A brave run by Orlittlebylittle at Uttoxeter today. Giving Paddy Partridge 19lbs he just failed to get up in the last few strides. Jason Maguire said that the horse responded well under pressure and he ran all the way to the line. Jason also said that having to make all the running on the drying ground probably played into the hands of Michael Owen’s Paddy Partridge who is Brown Panthers half-brother.

The owners were delighted with another winning enclosure finish, Orlittlebylittle does seem to be improving with every run.

He will be out again soon and he does seem to be going the right way.

Avonbridge filly- new syndicate

Our new syndicate horse with Tom Dascombe has been impressing on the gallops and will be entered for her racecourse debut in June. As a result we will be closing entry to the syndicate at the current prices after the 21st May. The naming process for the horse begins on Saturday.

The filly has been working with some expensive fillies at Tom Dascombe’s Manor House Stables and has been showing up very well.
